How exactly do I earn 50%?
When a store installs Store Scanner through your referral link and starts a paid subscription, you earn half of the profit on that store. Every month the store stays subscribed, you get paid, for as long as they stay subscribed. Your monthly statement shows every referred store, the plan, and your share in plain numbers.
How is attribution tracked?
By shop domain, not by cookie. When a Shopify store installs through your partner link we record the shop's myshopify.com domain against your partner ID on our side. That store is attributed to you for its full lifetime on Store Scanner, regardless of how many times the merchant clears cookies or switches devices.
When and how do I get paid?
Payouts run monthly, between day 1 and day 10 of the following month. The payout method is agreed with you during onboarding based on your country and preferred rails. You receive a monthly statement with every referred store, its plan, and your share.
What about refunds or chargebacks?
If a store we paid you commission on gets a refund or chargeback, that amount is reversed from your next payout. No negative balances carried across partners. We expect this to be rare, but the math has to be honest both ways.
Do I need a specific contract with the merchant?
No. You can install Store Scanner on your own agency shop, on client stores you manage directly, or just share your partner link in your next audit proposal. The only rule: the install must reach the App Store through your unique link, or you hand off the install to us with a written intro email so we can manually attribute it.
Can I promote this publicly?
Yes. Use it in newsletters, blog posts, Shopify community threads, agency proposals, case studies, LinkedIn, wherever it fits naturally. The one hard rule: no paid search bidding on our branded keywords ("store scanner", "storehealth", variations) and no fake review manipulation. That's instant partner termination.
Is there a minimum volume I need to hit?
No minimum. One referral a quarter is fine, one a week is better. We only terminate partnerships for the abuse rules above or for 12 consecutive months of zero referred revenue (to keep our partner list real).

Yes. Active partners get a free Pro license on their own agency shop plus any test store they want to run scans on. We also ship co-branded PDF exports (your logo on handoff reports) to active partners on request. Think of this as tooling for your partner work, not a perk in isolation.
