Keep your storefront clean and fast
Store Scanner checks your theme and store setup, then highlights what to fix first. It finds leftover app code, risky scripts, metafield clutter, oversized files, product content issues, and discount problems. You get a clear report with a Store Health score and category breakdown.
What we check
A single scan aggregates multiple analyses into one structured report.
Surface Liquid and theme best-practice issues with clear file + line references.
Find risky and performance-heavy scripts, duplicates, and anti-pattern loading.
Detect unused, empty, and unstructured metafields across owner types.
Identify oversized and unused files referenced in theme/metafields/content.
Catch content gaps (SEO, images, descriptions) and messy catalog patterns.
Spot stale, overlapping, or risky discount setups that hurt performance and clarity.

FAQ
Quick answers about safety, data access, and the scan workflow.
Does Store Scanner change my theme?
No. Scans are read-only. If you decide to fix items, duplicate your theme and apply changes safely.
How do I run my first scan?
Open Home and click Run scan. If you are new, use Start onboarding to pick a theme and set your preferences first.
Where do I choose the theme to scan?
Go to Settings and choose your live theme or a draft theme. We recommend scanning a draft when you are actively making changes.
How long does a scan take?
Most scans finish in a few minutes. Large themes, many products, or heavy metafields can take longer.
What are saved reports and comparisons?
Every scan can be saved as a report so you can review it later. Compare highlights what changed between two runs so you can validate improvements.
Does Store Scanner access customer data?
No customer data required. We analyze your theme and store setup, plus product and discount configuration needed for the checks.
How often should I scan?
Scan after uninstalling apps, after major theme edits, and then on a regular cadence. Weekly is typical for active stores, monthly for stable stores.
Can I schedule scans and enable email notifications?
Yes. Go to Settings to choose automatic scanning and email notifications. If enabled, we notify you when a scan finishes.
Do I need a subscription?
Plans are managed from the Plans page. Home, Documentation, and Contact are available without a subscription. Scanning and full reports require an active plan.
What data is stored in Reports?
Reports store a snapshot of scan results so you can review them later and compare runs. Large payloads are trimmed to keep storage small.
I still have questions. How can I reach you?
Email us and include your goal (speed, cleanup, errors) plus the scan run ID if you have one.
